JERUSALEM (Xinhua). Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have canceled their planned visit to Israel, Israeli state channel Kan reported. The two had reportedly planned to visit Israel on Tuesday to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid ongoing US-Israeli attacks on Iran that have sparked a regional conflict.
The differences between the allies arose after Israeli attacks on Iranian facilities
In response to a question from Maariv, the American source said that Wittkoff and Kushner "will not travel to Israel." However, no official reason was given for the cancellation of the visit, nor was it clarified whether it was a postponement to another date or a final cancellation of the plan.
