The Judiciary handed down 36 months of pretrial detention against Jhonsson Smith Cruz Torres, alias “Jhonsson Pulpo” and leader of the criminal organization “Los Pulpos”, and Gabriel Alexander Saúl Mendocilla Gómez, both investigated for the kidnapping of mining businessman Jenss Lara in the city of Trujillo.
Gabriel Mendocilla Gómez, who was also arrested in Bolivia, received the same precautionary measure.The lawyers of both investigated expressed their agreement with the judicial decision.
‘Jhonsson Pulpo’ and his back guard, Gabriel Mendocilla, will remain in prison while the trial for the massacre in Trujillo continues.
The measure also reached Gabriel Alexander Saúl Mendocilla Gómez, a man with whom he was arrested in Bolivia after the kidnapping of a businessman and the crime of four people accompanying him in a vehicle.
