GASTONIA, N.C. – Crews are working to repair a large sinkhole that opened in Gastonia. It happened Saturday morning in the area around Airline Avenue and Brown Street. Police say it happened after the ground apparently caved in. We’re told no one was hurt. Police said no one was in the truck at the time the sinkhole opened, and that crews were able to remove it.
