Marshall men’s basketball begins Sun Belt Conference play on the road at 2 p.m. this Saturday against reigning champion Troy. “Troy, defending champions,” Marshall coach Corny Jackson said. “We’ve talked about it after our game two days ago. Those guys are the defending champions. Coach (Scott) Cross does a great job. Lot of respect for what they do there.”
