- The storm could result in storm surges of up to five meters in coastal regions, such as the Lower Chesapeake Bay, and bring three to six inches of rain across eastern portions of the Carolinas through Monday.
- While the system is forecast to weaken after making landfall, a tropical storm warning has been issued for areas including Cape Fear, North Carolina, and Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds.
