Operation Hadin Kai troops repelled coordinated attacks, recovering 38 AK-47 rifles and other weapons while pursuing over 70 wounded terrorists, official said.
- On Thursday, troops of Operation Hadin Kai said they killed more than 50 terrorists after simultaneous assaults between midnight and 0400 on positions in Dikwa, Mafa, Gajibo, and Katarko.
- Intelligence reports indicate attackers who stormed Dikwa and Gajibo advanced from the Cameroon axis, while those who hit Katarko came from the Timbuktu Triangle, and Daily Trust reported multiple attacks across the states.
- Security forces recovered 38 AK-47s, seven PKT machine guns, five RPG tubes, two GPMGs, hand grenades, assorted rounds, while ground troops and the Air Component pursue over 70 wounded miscreants.
- The Military High Command commended the gallant troops for repelling the attacks; some wounded soldiers are in stable condition, and damaged vehicles and buildings were reported.
- Coordinated ground and air operations have continued with precision strikes from the air component of OPHK, while more boots and critical combat enablers in the Theatre sustain pressure and air surveillance tracks fleeing remnants.
