Troop 270 to hold open house

Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 will host an open house Saturday, Nov. 8, to celebrate the anniversaries of both the troop and the historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut. Troop 270, founded in 1990 by its first scoutmaster, Terry Fennell, is marking its 35th year. The hut, built by W.R. Turner in 1940, is celebrating its 85th anniversary.
