Brewton has lost a well-loved resident with the death of centenarian Jack Taylor. Taylor died on Sunday at the age of 100 and is believed to be the oldest living T.R. Miller football player. Taylor graduated at TRM in 1942 and played the halfback position — at just 125 pounds — for the Tigers from 1938 to 1941.
