Authorities are investigating an email scam that bilked Tripp County out of more than $800,000.Tripp County State’s Attorney Zachary Pahlke says his office is working with the Attorney General’s Office to look into the scam that led the Tripp County Auditor’s Office to transfer $826,357 to a fraudulent account.“It was one payment for a road project that we had done,” Auditor Barb DeSersa told The Dakota Scout. “That’s why it was so much money.”
