Trilogy fundraiser raises money to fight childhood cancer

The sixth annual Trilogy Fight Childhood Cancer fundraiser was held this afternoon at Monarch Park in Nipomo. Nine participants shaved their heads in support of the cause, and attendees enjoyed a raffle, plus live and silent auctions. Prizes included overnight packages to Cambria and Carmel.Organizers say proceeds will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, supporting hospitals and research centers dedicated to finding a cure for pediatric cancer.
