Seismic movement with epicenter in Ayacucho affected Cusco and several regions of the south of the country.
The Geophysical Institute of Peru reported on Friday several aftershocks recorded in the Puno and Arequipa regions, in southern Peru, following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale that occurred 35 kilometers north of Coracora, in the Ayacucho region.
Two telluric movements, of magnitudes 3.5 and 3.4, were reported in the southern regions of the country during the early hours of Friday, August 21.
A response of 4.2 magnitude shook Ayacucho again hours after the 7.2 earthquake in Peru. There are two people affected and damage to homes and educational institutions.
