A gust of wind from an approaching thunderstorm uprooted a tree approximately 25 meters tall in Wald im Pitztal, Tyrol (Imst district) early Monday evening. The tree then fell onto the roof of an oncoming car driven by a 43-year-old German man, police reported on Tuesday. The man sustained minor injuries, while two children in the car – a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl – were unharmed.
