Re “No one should expect the U.S. to take care of the world” (June 7): When I see letters like this one, I get very disheartened. Paul B. Evans obviously did not really “sympathize” with the workers. Who isn’t aware of immigrants who serve us at every turn? We gladly accept their work. There are no citizens lining up for their jobs. We have a labor shortage. They are not criminals based on lack of documents. They are not the “worst of the worst”…
