Treasure hoard unearthed in Polish woodland

In woodland near Spała, within the administrative district of Gmina Inowłódz, Poland, a group of metal detectorists uncovered a buried treasure hoard. The discovery was made by members of the Pilica Line Fortification Society, a team usually associated with recording twentieth-century remains.
