Poland will launch a direct train connection with Croatia in June, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on the social network X. Poland's largest passenger rail operator PKP Intercity said in April that it was ready to launch the connection, but was waiting for the approval of the transit countries - the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. "We finally have a direct train connection from Poland to Croatia; we are starting in June, four days a week," Prime Minister Donald Tusk informed on the X portal. The cheapest ticket from Warsaw to Rijeka will cost PLN 200. The total travel time is less than 19 hours.
