Trans Health Equality Act to make it to Gov. Moore's desk
Transgender Marylanders will soon be able to receive additional gender-affirming procedures under the state's Medicaid program. The Trans Health Equity Act (THEA) passed 93-39 in the House of Delegates. Gov. Wes Moore has pledged to sign it into law. The bill would take effect on Jan. 1, 2024.
