Train Derailment in Altoona This Morning

Emergency Crews in Logan Township responded to a massive train derailment early this morning involving more than 70 Norfolk Southern rail cars.  Emergency services responded to the derailment at the 100 block of Porta Road around 4:00 this morning.  Reportedly, there is no threat to the community, and no hazardous materials were released.  Emergency personnel have cleared the scene.  Norfolk Southern  has taken over management of the site.  Loga…
