Underwater hockey or badminton, death metal and the philharmonic orchestra. Two traditional summer festivals began in Pilsen over the weekend: the eleventh year of the sports-oriented Sportmania and the thirty-third year of the Festival na ulici focused on music, dance and theater. Both events used to have high attendance in previous years, but Saturday's heat did not help them much.
