Tracing the roots of rock, blues and country at the library

The Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road, will host Jon Waterman Monday, May 11  from 7 to 8 p.m. as part of its Spring Concert Series, featuring “A Journey Through the Roots of American Popular Music.”  The library is closed on Mondays at 5 p.m. Doors for the concert will open at 6:30 p.m. The program explores the characters and events behind the origins of blues, rock and country music, highlighting their influence on American culture.
