Semi catches fire in a Tomah Kwik Trip parking lot

TOMAH, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Late Monday morning (June 23rd), the Tomah Fire Department battled a semi fire at a Kwik Trip on the north side of town. The department said, when crews arrived, they found the semi fully engulfed in flames. The driver was inside the store at the time and was not injured. Officials say the semi was hauling steel cargo racks. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.

Semi truck burns to the ground as driver shops for snacks

A semi truck caught fire outside of a Kwik Trip in Wisconsin on Monday as the driver was inside of the store shopping for snacks.  The fire happened at about 11:24 a.m. at the Kwik Trip in Tomah, Wisconsin on Monday, June 23rd.  According to the Tomah Fire Department, the driver parked his tractor trailer and went inside the store, presumably to shop for snacks and possibly use the bathroom.
