Tofig Yagublu, prisoner of conscience, began a hunger strike

The life of Tofig Yagublu, an Azerbaijani opponent, is in danger. His health, already weakened by years of persecution, detention and ill-treatment, has deteriorated since he began a hunger strike on 1 April in order to protest his conviction, motivated by political considerations, and he must be released immediately and unconditionally, and receive independent medical assistance worthy of the name.
