Tinubu Departs Saudi Arabia For Nigeria After Umrah
Tinubu said he prayed for peace, unity and prosperity for Nigerians after performing Umrah and entering the Holy Kaaba with his delegation.
On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu departed King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for Abuja after completing the Umrah, or Lesser Hajj, in Makkah.
During the visit, Tinubu was granted the rare privilege of entering the Holy Kaaba to pray for Nigeria's peace, unity, and prosperity, expressing deep appreciation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for hospitality extended to his delegation.
According to presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the entourage included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and several state governors who accompanied the President during the spiritual journey.
Tinubu is scheduled to visit Akwa Ibom State this Friday, November 6, for a one-day working visit to commission several projects, including the Arise Palm Resort, executed by Governor Umo Eno.
On Saturday, November 7, the President will travel to Rivers State to attend an All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally, continuing his official engagements.
