Enrico Tiero, a member of the Brothers of Italy party, has been suspended from his position as Lazio regional councilor. He has been under house arrest since October 18th on corruption charges related to an investigation in Latina. His seat will be filled by the first of the unelected candidates on the Brothers of Italy list in the Pontine province constituency: Emanuela Zappone, who also serves as president of the Circeo National Park Authority.
