Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Confirmed Positive for Strangles

On May 22, a 4-year-old Thoroughbred gelding at a boarding facility in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, tested positive for strangles. The horse developed clinical signs on May 19, including fever and nasal discharge.
