In the old cemetery of Koźl, among others, the mayor of Koźl and the royal treasury were buried. Koziel businessmen, officials, American airmen and Wehrmacht soldiers who died during World War II were also buried here. The Kozielska necropolis at Głubczycka and Raciborska Streets could be a kind of treasure trove of knowledge about the pre-war Koźl. Unfortunately, it is deteriorating more and more.
