The operations were carried out by the Gendarmerie in Zárate, on National Route 12, one of the main corridors connecting Buenos Aires with Entre Ríos. In one of the operations, they seized 188 fish and four butchered capybaras, while in another they found 13 packages containing 12,160 packs of cigarettes without customs documentation.
