Pierre Jacky Marc, 27, was placed without life after disappearing during the descent from the summit, in an operation that lasted several hours in the Cordillera Blanca.
Pierre Jacky Marc's partner (27), Thomas Max Michel, managed to land smoothly after the flight, but his friend did not return. Authorities have begun the search since Thursday morning, with support from the PNP.
The PNP confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of French tourist Pierre Jacky Marc, 27, who disappeared after a paragliding flight from the snowy Alpamayo.
The 27-year-old suffered an accident as he tried to descend from almost six thousand meters of altitude. His flight mate managed to land safely and walked for six hours to alert the rescue teams from Alta Montaña who came to the emergency area.
