They discover two unique salamanders in Talamanca: one is so small that it measures less than 3 cm

The high mountains of Talamanca are home to two new salamander species. Research from the University of Costa Rica (UCR) identified them after several researches. Their names are Bolitoglossa chiquitica and Bolitoglossa silentium. These are rare species, as only four individuals of B. chiquitica and two of B. silentium are known.
