After seven days of protest, inhabitants of the Sierra de Guerrero opened the valves of the Omiltemi water system, which supplies part of Chilpancingo. Raúl Arcos, commissioner of the town of Jaleaca de Catalán, municipality of Chilpancingo, said that they closed the supply because the state authorities did not attend to their demands. Yesterday they also blocked the Autopista del Sol for almost nine hours.

Commissioners reported that they are looking for a meeting with Mayor Gustavo Alarcón Herrera and Governor Evelyn Salgado.
