(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 16 – Approximately 900,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon, and many of them are still on the streets two weeks after renewed tensions with Israel erupted. The Lebanese Red Cross reported this in a statement cited by Beirut media. (ANSA).
Despite the United Nations appeals for Israel to respect Lebanon's sovereignty, there are still attacks in the South of the country, causing nearly a million displaced people.
According to the Lebanese news agency ANI, the Israeli army attacked a residential building near Saida, the main city in southern Lebanon, killing one person.
