The case of Thélyson Orélien does not cease to cause a stir. To such an extent that the Goncourt Academy announced on Friday, September 25, that it was withdrawing the novel 'C'était ça ou mourir' ('It was that or die') from its selection for the award. The Canadian-Haitian author is accused of having used artificial intelligence, to which are added plagiarism by texts published in Canada. His promotional tour has also been suspended.
