Thousands of people took part this weekend in Brest in the record for the largest Lego fresco in the world. A record that must be approved by the Guinness World Records. A 21-meter-long mural with the aim of raising funds for the restoration of an old rigging.
With a length of 21 m and 1.84 m wide, the fresco represents the old rigging of Our Lady of Rumengol
A mosaic 21 m long and 1.94 m high and 250,210 Lego bricks was built this weekend. It retraces the history of Notre-Dame-de-Rumengol, an emblematic ship that is seeking funding for its restoration.
The Bretons built a gigantic Lego mosaic this weekend. And they hope to get it recognized by Guinness World Records soon.
Brest won, on Sunday, February 24, 2024, the record for the largest Lego mosaic at the Capucins, in Brest. Mickaël Eymann and the An Test association succeeded in their crazy bet, with the participation of many Brestois.
