On Wednesday, a security source reported the murder of a taxi driver in central Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar governorate centre. The source told Safaq News that "an unknown taxi driver, aged 50, was killed in the Houli district, central Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar district." He added that "the perpetrators fled to an unidentified destination, while preliminary investigations into the incident indicate that the killing was caused by a former clan vendetta."
