THE trial of two former Zadar tax inspectors and four entrepreneurs has begun at the Split County Court in a major USKOK case in which tax officials are accused of favoring certain tax debtors and in return receiving lunches, alcohol, meat, various services and even bathroom renovations.
According to the indictment, Bungur gave Slavica alcohol from his winery and brewery in return and helped him get his brother a job at a utility company.

This is a case that was first presented to the public with an arrest operation back in 2021, while USKOK filed an indictment in 2023.
