The Treasury and the World Bank are preparing to take out insurance against high-intensity earthquakes
In conjunction with the World Bank, the Ministry of Finance is preparing to take out insurance against high-intensity earthquakes in Chile. The idea is that, by paying an annual fee, compensation can be accessed if an event of this type occurs in the country. According to Minister Mario Marcel, this measure would not be associated with other disasters such as forest fires.
