Northern Start and Finale in the Pyrenees for 2027 Tour De France
Organisers say the 114th edition will feature 28 climbs, 53,450 metres of elevation gain and two time-trials before the Paris finale.

- The first three stages traverse Scotland, England, and Wales, with Tour Director Christian Prudhomme describing the third stage as, "Wales is Liege-Bastogne-Liege."
- Riders face 28 climbs and two individual time-trials, excluding iconic ascents like Alpe d'Huez and Ventoux as Prudhomme seeks "to muddy the waters" with new challenges.
- Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel should benefit from the 38km stage seven time-trial, while a second 33km test around Toulouse on stage 16 favours the Belgian.
- The Pyrenees will provide the competitive finale, with the 114th edition concluding in Paris on the Montmartre climb, designed to prevent a repeat of the one-sided lead seen in 2026.
