Together with prominent architects, artists and with the support of heritage conservation, Cream was looking for a way to preserve part of the burned-out building in the Zlín factory complex as an authentic reminder of its history and Bata architecture. On Friday, an expert group decided that the northeastern fragment of the building could not be safely preserved. Therefore, demolition will continue on Monday.
According to experts, not even a part of the burned-out 34th building in the former Bata site in Zlín can be preserved. Demolition will therefore continue on Monday. It is expected that the rest of the torso should be removed by the hired company within the next week, Cream's marketing and communications director Marcel Schmidt said on Friday.
