The Supreme Court judge Leopoldo Puente has accepted the resignation of the last lawyer of former minister José Luis Ábalos, but, as it was he who requested a hearing to oppose his imprisonment, he forces him to assist in defending in person the arguments with which he intended to convince the High Court's appeal court to overturn that decision and any delay would prejudice the imprisoned defendant.
