The first unusual thing about this public procurement is the fact that the average market price of a kilogram of maize of standard quality, according to the information system of the Ministry of Agriculture, last week was 2.47 kuna. In fact, the whole of October the average price fluctuated around this level, and in September harvest it was also noticeably lower, below two kuna.
