According to a late poll conducted by the National Research Group for Polsat News, 31.8 percent of Krakow residents participated in the referendum. The vast majority, nearly 98 percent, voted to dismiss Aleksander Miszalski and the city council. If these poll results are confirmed, the referendum will be valid and the mayor of Krakow will be removed from office.

On Sunday, the people of Krakow decided whether to keep the mayor and city council in their positions, which they were supposed to hold until 2029. The referendum was initiated by a citizens' petition.

Aleksander Miszalski's opponent in the recent local elections, Łukasz Gibała, has commented on the referendum results. "This result means one thing," the politician said in an interview with Interia.
Following the referendum, preparations for possible early elections began in Krakow. The Confederation was the first to announce its candidate for mayor.
