The Province of Groningen, together with other government bodies and entrepreneurs, among others, plans to invest 44.6 million euros in promoting tourism. Half of that amount comes from the fund available through the National Programme Groningen (NPG), the province reports. The intention is for this amount to be doubled by contributions from the business community and funds, among others.
The Province of Groningen is making a new attempt to boost tourism in our region. It is investing 22.3 million euros to support tourism plans from entrepreneurs and government authorities.
