The Prefect of the Île-de-France region, Marc Guillaume, has been appointed head of the Conseil d'État, announced the Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, this Wednesday, May 6. Former Secretary of Government, he has spent his entire career in the senior public service.
Marc Guillaume has been prefect of Ile-de-France since 17 August 2020. He has been very involved in the preparation and management of the 2024 Olympic Games.
