A survey by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CAC) warned of a scenario of sustained increase in costs and a fall in the overall level of consumption. One of the results of this context is the number of empty premises in the main commercial areas of the City that showed significant growth during the bimonthly May-June 2025.
The Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) denied that during May and June 2025 there were 238 premises for sale, rent or simply closed in the main commercial arteries of the City of Buenos Aires, 40% more compared to the same bimonthly of 2024. In addition, the figure in the report shows a growth of 12.3% compared to the previous measurement, made in March-April 2025, when 212 inactive premises had been registered.
