In 2025, some 26,700 participants in the State programme for voluntary relocation to Russia of compatriots registered with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, almost 16 per cent less than in 2024, when 31,700 participants were registered, wrote "Vedomis" with reference to the Ministry's data.
Under the resettlement programme for compatriots, some 26.7 thousand people in 2025 had benefited from the Ministry of Internal Affairs data.
