The Trump administration’s new visa restrictions are facing a major legal challenge. A coalition of unions and advocacy groups has sued to block rules that would impose fixed periods of admission on foreign students, exchange visitors and journalists.
In the United States, journalist associations and press freedom advocates have brought the proposal to limit foreign media visas to 240 days to Congress.
