An historic international men's epee event in France, the Challenge Monal, organized this weekend in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val-de-Marne), should disappear from the calendar in 2025. The reason: a directive from the International Federation (FIE), which now requires a country to organize a maximum of two senior competitions, and no longer three.
