Minnesota Campaigns Enter Final Stretch Ahead of Nov. 3
Both parties are pressing turnout as the DFL says it has already reported more than 2.4 million doors knocked.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, both the DFL and GOP officially launched statewide bus tours, marking the final five-day sprint to Election Day on Nov. 3.
DFL Party Chair Richard Carlbom reported the DFL has knocked on more than 2.4 million doors this year, exceeding 200,000 more than any prior grassroots effort.
Billionaire Richard Uihlein contributed $16 million to Republican House Speaker Lisa Demuth's campaign, while outside PACs issued single checks reaching $400,000 in Minnesota Senate contests.
At the Capitol, DFL candidate Amy Klobuchar and Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan rallied supporters, with Klobuchar urging them to "remember the spirit" from past movements.
Many candidates framed the election as a referendum on President Donald Trump, with Flanagan defining the choice as between Michele Tafoya and Trump versus herself and Minnesota.
