The Ministry of Interior announced that 43 migrant smuggling organizers were arrested in operations conducted in 18 provinces as part of the fight against migrant smuggling.
In simultaneous air and ground operations conducted by gendarmerie teams in 18 provinces, 52 migrant smuggling organizers were apprehended, 43 of whom were arrested, while 131 vehicles and 20 boats and boat engines were seized.
“52 migrant smuggling organizers were caught in operations organized by our Gendarmerie under the “Fight Against Migrant Smuggling” in 18 provinces, the Ministry of Interior announced. Of the suspects; 43 were arrested. Judicial control orders were imposed on 9 of them.”
