In mid-August, the traffic of the MÁVPlusz application broke a record, after passengers purchased more than half a million tickets and passes in a single week. The outstanding figure can be explained by the rise of digital ticket purchasing and the application's recently introduced new functions and developments, writes Minister of Transport and Investment Dávid Vitézy on his social media page.
