Rabbi Dov Landau has decided to promote Boaz Bismuth's draft exemption law, amid mounting protests against ultra-Orthodox politicians. "At this moment, the instruction has reached the Knesset members that it has been decided to give the green light to advance the law in the Knesset committee as soon as possible," said a statement issued by the Degel Hatorah party.

With his decision, the last opposition from the ultra-Orthodox parties to the debate on the law was removed.
